Our annual cook-off to benefit Manna Food Pantries was held on Friday, October 28th and boasted all kinds of delicious and festive dishes. This year’s theme was all about the spirit of Halloween and, as always, the competition was fierce.

For the Appetizer category, Andrea Comeau’s Mummy Wraps earned the Judges Most Original Award, while Destini Cooper brought home the Judges Best Tasting and People’s Choice Awards with her Witches Brew Potato Soup.

In the Entrée category, Daniyelle Pedersen won the Judges Most Original Award for her Worm Sketti. Beth Varhalla’s Chicken and Worms won the Judges Best Tasting and the People’s Choice Awards.

Finally, the Graveyard Brownie Bars by Kelly Tilley won her the Judges Best Tasting Award, and Zachary Farrington’s Bloodshot Eye Cake Pops won the Judges Most Original and People’s Choice Awards.

The $25 gift card to Panera Bread for the Best Halloween Hat was won by Magen Crowl.

The entire event raised $830 for Manna Food Pantries! Thank you to all those who cooked the food, decorated the Training Room, sampled the dishes and helped clean up. Everyone made the Cook Off a success.
