Delays in Affordable Care Act's Employer Mandate

In a move that recognizes the complexity businesses face in implementing the requirements for providing healthcare to their employees, the Administration has delayed enforcement of the employer mandate to 2015. This delay is intended to have a two-fold effect: 1) the Administration will attempt to simplify the reporting requirements and 2) it will give businesses additional time to adapt their health coverage.
