Saltmarsh Practices Building and Landscaping for United Way Day of Caring

The United Way’s annual Day of Caring found several of our employees out of the office and getting their hands dirty. Lakeview Center needed assistance in building a new fence and planting flower beds, and Saltmarsh was glad to help. Armed with posthole diggers and cement, our team erected the brand new wooden fence in no time and then used an artistic eye to landscape new flower beds.

The United Way matches groups and individuals with local non-profit agencies and schools so they can spend the Day of Caring assisting with various projects. If one individual were to try make an equal impact, he or she would have to volunteer nearly every hour of the day for an entire year! Saltmarsh is proud to have participated in this year’s efforts.
