Investing in Tomorrow: Saltmarsh Financial Advisors and D&I Committee Present at West Florida High School

Earlier this month, our Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Outreach Committee partnered with Sarah Horne and Pierce Broscious, of Saltmarsh Financial Advisors to present to students at West Florida High School in Pensacola.

Pierce and Sarah, joined by Saltmarsh colleagues and D&I Committee members Stephen Helms-MacBeth and Michelle Mobley, gave a presentation on investing to financial literacy students. Pierce and Sarah discussed topics like the differences and risks between stocks, bonds, and money markets accounts, and gave students tips on how to implement financial tools into their current lives. The 2-day program included interactive activities, professional guest speakers, and (of course) awesome Saltmarsh swag!

We consider it a real honor to share our knowledge and experience with these students. Thank you to the students and faculty at West Florida High for hosting us, and to everyone who gave their time and effort to make this presentation happen.

Prior to joining Saltmarsh, Michelle was a senior tax expert where she provided tax return preparation and planning for individuals.
