Bank insurance renewals have become anything but routine. With the drastic increase in the frequency and severity of ransomware attacks, we are left with significantly tougher network security requirements coupled with increased premiums and deductibles that have coverage restrictions. It is a whole new ballgame.
In this update, we’ll be joined by Partner and Financial Institutions Practice Leader at AHT Insurance, Dennis Gustafson, CLCS, for an executive overview of the metrics behind financial institution’s insurance. Gustafson will also review trends in the D&O claims environment and how they are moving the market.

Dennis Gustafson, CLCS, Financial Institutions Practice Leader, AHT Insurance
Dennis leads the financial products practice for AHT. He has extensive expertise in placing directors and officer’s (D&O) liability, banker’s professional liability, lenders liability, cyber liability and fidelity bond/commercial crime for community and regional banks. He is a frequent speaker about management liability topics at industry events and contributing author for Bank Director — writing D&O-specific articles. He was also quoted in the Wall Street Journal in an article titled “Small U.S. Banks Hit by Rising Insurance Cost”.
