The Financial Institution Advisory Group at Saltmarsh is excited to bring you a bitcoin basics webinar featuring Allied Payment and NYDIG. This educational webinar will cover everything bitcoin - from its history, the asset opportunities it can create, and what is currently happening in the industry related to the buying, selling and custody of bitcoin. We'll provide examples of how cryptocurrency solutions are integrated within everyday banking services with safety and compliance in mind.
ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Tammy Bangs, CAMS, Relationship Manager for Banks, NYDIG
Tammy Bangs is the Relationship Manager for Banks with NYDIG. She's a CAMS-certified 30-year veteran of community banking and spent more than 18 of those years working for one of the big three core vendors. She has worked for the past decade in AML/Fraud and cybersecurity. Tammy has a BA in Music from Evangel University.
Geoff Knapp, Chief Growth Officer, Allied Payment Network
Geoff Knapp is an innovative sales leader, with extensive experience in payments and financial technology. At Allied, Geoff is responsible for new business development within current partnership channels and creating go-to-market strategies for all products. Before joining Allied, Geoff was the General Manager of the Payments Division at 2checkout (acquired by Verifone in 2020). His earlier experience also includes various leadership positions with CheckFree (acquired by FISV in 2007). At Fiserv, he went on to head the Digital Channels business line focused primarily on mobile and online banking.
