If you haven’t noticed, Saltmarsh works hard and plays hard. We value time outside of our daily routines to get together, build that family-like camaraderie and take time to relax together. Our team takes care of our clients, and our firm takes care of our team, so we decided to practice some of our 33 Saltmarsh Way Fundamentals by #15 Celebrating Achievement, #22 Showing Meaningful Appreciation, #29 Investing in Relationships and #33 Keeping Things Fun!

Some of our favorite activities center around food and Giada de Laurentiis said it best, “Food brings people together on many different levels. It's nourishment of the soul and body.” So of course, after a very busy season, our offices in Tampa and Pensacola got together for bites, games and bonding – and what made it extra special was that remote staff who live in nearby towns joined us in person for the fun!

Pensacola’s Spring party was held at the Grainhouse at Garden & Grain, the largest garden bar in Downtown Pensacola. Our Saltmarsh Family enjoyed a delicious taco and nacho bar from Tacos Mexicanos, classic backyard games like cornhole and giant Jenga, and a specialty champagne drink called “The Deadline” in honor of us reaching the tax deadline!

Our Tampa team enjoyed sunset views at the Edge rooftop bar, part of the Epicurean hotel near Bayshore Boulevard. They enjoyed delicious ‘mini’ bites including mini spring rolls, mini beef wellingtons, mini shrimp toasts and mini macarons. They also brought out the infamous Taco Cat Cheese Pizza game that is regularly played during team lunches!

Overall, our teams took a couple of hours out of their week to enjoy time together, welcome newcomers into the Saltmarsh Family, meet some of our remote employees in person and relax after a successful busy season!
