Women in Manufacturing Panel - Creating the Next Generation of Women Leaders

Join us for a Manufacturing Month panel on Wednesday, October 20th from 1:00-2:00 PM (CST)/2:00-3:00 PM (EST).

Get inspired by these prominent panelists from the manufacturing community: Commissioner Kathryn Starkey; Paula DeLuca, Business Advisor at FloridaMakes; Melissa Brode, Associate Dean from the University of West Florida's College of Business; Angel Barton, Director of Human Resources for Aeromatrix; Jackie von Hahman, Production Control Manager at Hine Automation; and Barbara Biller, owner of intelliTech, Inc.

ABOUT THE PANELISTS

Kathryn Starkey, Pasco County Commissioner
Kathryn is an active community member of the Tampa Bay Area. After serving two terms on the Pasco County School Board, Kathryn is now in her second term as a Pasco County Commissioner, running for her third term. She is a member of Global Tampa Bay and works closely with the Pasco Economic Development Council (PEDC), where she serves as Chair of the PEDC International Committee. She is the co-founder and Chair of AmSkills (American Manufacturing Skills Initiative), a unique regional workforce apprenticeship training program. 

Jackie Von Hahmann, Production Control Manager, Hine Automation
Jackie brings 10+ years of mechanical engineering, operations, and management experience to Hine Automation. Prior to joining Hine Automation, Jackie served as an applications engineer focusing on DDC logic programming, start up, commissioning, and troubleshooting. She then served in engineering sales roles and was a Director of Operations for a fiberoptic lighting solutions organization. Jackie worked her way through the ranks at Hine Automation in manufacturing operations for the past eight years and now serves as Hine Automation’s Production Control Manager. 

Paula DeLuca, Business Advisor, FloridaMakes
Paula has over 30 years of manufacturing experience in a variety of industry segments. Her team management expertise includes materials and inventory management, logistics management, lean manufacturing/Kanban/ISO, Toyota Daily Kata process, ERP implementation, supply chain management, MRP product planning and scheduling, material flow, new product development and customer support management.
