2013 Saltmarsh Cook Off: Great American BBQ

Our employees raised over $900 for Manna Food Pantries this Friday at our Saltmarsh Annual Cook-off, and boy are we sorry if you missed it!  This year's theme - The Great American BBQ was great with plenty of delicious, homemade barbecue, sides and desserts to go around.  

Congratulations to this year's winners:

People's Choice:
Entree - Pulled Chicken Sliders with Coleslaw (Heather Starratt)
Side - Mac & Cheese (Sandy Brannon)
Dessert - Chocolate Eclair Cake (Catie Purdon)

Judge's Choice:
Entree - Smoked Boston Butt (Josh Strickland)
Side - Jalapeno Cheddar Parmesan Muffins (Whitney Bruner)
Dessert - Smores Brownie (Beth Varhalla)

Most Original:
Entree - Pulled Chicken Sliders with Coleslaw (Heather Starratt)
Side - Call me Tater Salad (Allison Jones)
Dessert - Ice Cream Delight (Cindy Tredway)

Our Saltmarsh Shareholders were good sports (as always) for this year's game: Shoot the Shareholder!  After all was said and done, David Lister was the proud winner of a Chia Pet of Willie Robinson from Duck Dynasty for landing a bulls-eye on his chosen target, Ron Jackson's photo.
