2013 Tax Day Deals & Freebies!

This is the day that many of our "Saltmarshians" have been looking forward to for weeks (some even months)!! Long nights crunching numbers, coming to the office on the weekends and phone calls with the IRS have become the norm around here, but we are proud to report that WE HAVE MADE IT TO APRIL 15th!
It's no big secret that the arrival of this day comes as quite a relief to those in the world accounting and finance. Now, to top it off, April 15th has also become a day that everyone can appreciate! Many restaurants and retailers have come to use Tax Day as a time to offer freebies and other deals to the public. We don't know about you, but you slap the word FREE in front of just about anything and it becomes increasingly more appealing.
Here are some of the best 2013 Tax Day freebies and deals we've found:
- AMC Theatres: Concessions stands at theaters are giving away free orders of small popcorn from April 12 to 15 when you present this coupon.
- Arby's: Present this coupon for a free order of curly fries or potato cakes on April 15.
- Bonefish Grill: $5 Bang Bang Shrimp from 4PM-close on April 15.
- Chili's: Free appetizer or dessert with entree purchase when you "like" their Facebook page on April 15. You can print the coupon or show it to your server via smart phone.
- Cinnabon: Two free Cinnabon Bites offered per customer on April 15, while supplies last on April 15.
- Great American Cookies: Each customer gets a free Birthday Cake Cookie on April 15.
- Krispy Kreme: Free glazed doughnut with any regular-priced milk from April 15 to 21.
- Office Depot: Copies of up to 25 pages of your income taxes (in black and white, single-sided) free of charge on April 15.
- Panda Express: Present this coupon (either printed or via mobile phone) for a free Samurai Surf & Turf entree on April 17.
- Papa Johns: Large pizza with up to 3 toppings and a 2-liter of pepsi for $10.40 with coupon code TAXSPC when you order online on April 15.
- Papa Murphy's: $5 for a large pepperoni pizza on April 15.
- Schlotzsky's: The Original small sandwich for free with the purchase of a 32-oz. drink and chips on April 15.
- Sonic: "Happy Hour" with half-priced drinks and slushes all day on April 15.
