Saltmarsh Hosts 4th Annual Construction Industry Update

On Thursday, October 17th, the Construction Advisors at Saltmarsh hosted their 4th Annual Construction Industry Update. The half-day seminar featured local experts who spoke on important industry concerns and developments in our region.

Will Linthicum, Underwriting Manager at The Hanover Insurance Group, kicked off the event with a presentation on underwriting financials. He also talked about the current state of surety and ways to maximize surety by generating a strong operating cash flow.

Rick Harper, Ph.D., Economic Advisor for Triumph Gulf Coast, joined us again to share his up-to-date local and regional economic analyses and construction industry forecasts. Saltmarsh’s Lead IT Consultant, Cedric Durre, ended the seminar with a presentation covering best practices to safeguard your company so you’re less susceptible to data breach and fraud.
