University of West Florida's 2015 Meet The Firms Event

We had a great time attending University of West Florida's Meet the Firms event last night.

We networked with Beta Alpha Psi members and other students that are pursuing accounting degrees.

At the event, we had the opportunity to provide two students with scholarships! As a firm, we provided $500 scholarships to Chris Baretta and Jessica Reid. We are always delighted to help dedicated students pursue their degrees and reward them for their hard work.

One of our shareholders, Charles Gund presented a $1,000 scholarship from the Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA) Educational Foundation. As a member of the FICPA Board of Trustees, he is responsible for helping accounting students receive financial assistance and to promote the Accounting profession as a whole. Since he sits on the Educational Foundations Board of Trustees, he had the honor of presenting Karen Musyka with the scholarship.

As a firm, we look forward to attending this annual event because we are committed to supporting UWF and their efforts to bridge the gap between students and employers. We look forward to attending this event next year!
