In honor of our 75th Anniversary, longtime friend of the firm and widely-respected local historian John Appleyard recently spotlighted the story of Saltmarsh in his regular column in the Pensacola News Journal.

In the article, Appleyard shares his detailed account of the nineteen-forties, highlighting the journey our three founders took to begin the first professional CPA partnership of its kind in the local area. Together, they set out to establish a reputable firm that would positively impact the community and local businesses of that time and beyond.

“We're proud to have been committed to our clients and communities for 75 years. This is also a time for planning our future, and what we may provide tomorrow for all whom we continue to serve,” said the firm’s current President Lee Bell. Bell is featured along with senior shareholder and the son of a founder, Charles Gund, Jr. Gund explains that the key ingredient to the firm’s success over the past 75 years has been the privilege of contributing to the success of others.
