Saltmarsh Elects Strickland and Cole Shareholders

We are excited to announce that Josh Strickland, CPA and Michael Cole, JD, MSPA have been elected shareholders as of January 1, 2023.

“Josh and Mike have been leaders in our firm since they each first joined. Mike’s in-depth knowledge of tax law, private equity and mergers and acquisitions has led him to form solid partnerships with his clients,” said Lee Bell, CPA, President. “Josh has a remarkable commitment to serving and the mutual respect of our great financial institution clients. We are proud to welcome them both to our shareholder group and look forward to growing with them in the years to come.”

Josh has practiced public accounting since he joined the firm in 2010. As a part of the Financial Institution Advisory Group at Saltmarsh, he has served a multitude of the firm’s bank and credit union clients with his extensive expertise in external audit, internal audit and loan review services. He received his bachelor’s and Master of Accountancy from the University of West Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).

Since joining the firm’s Tax and Accounting practice, Michael has served hundreds of public and private sector clients throughout the United States. He has over 15 years of public accounting experience and is recognized for his knowledge of the sales and exchanges of complex partnerships and organizational transactions, mergers and acquisitions and private equity. He received his master’s and Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University and is a member of the AICPA, the American Bar Association and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
