Camille Heckmann and Stephen Helms-MacBeth Accepted to Leadership Pensacola Class of 2023

6/20/2022 - By Allie Jackson

The Greater Pensacola Chamber recently announced its Leadership Pensacola (LeaP) Class of 2023 and we are pleased to announce that two of our Saltmarsh family members were accepted as members of this prestigious group!

Congratulations to Audit Senior, Camille Heckmann and Financial Institutions Manager, Stephen Helms MacBeth, CRCM, CAFP – both part of our Financial Institution Consulting practice.

The Chamber created LeaP in 1982 to develop and foster community-minded leaders. Every year, individuals who are interested in joining, complete a thorough application and are carefully selected to participate in the 10-month program, which includes completing a comprehensive community give-back project.

Stephen shared, “I am excited to meet the other class members and work with them to learn more about the challenges, issues and opportunities facing the Pensacola area. I have always felt that being in this organization has been considered prestigious, so I am very honored to have been selected to be part of the Leadership Pensacola Class of 2023.”

“I am grateful and excited to be a member of the Leadership Pensacola Class of 2023,” says Camille Heckmann. “I look forward to meeting individuals with a similar vision for the community and working together to address issues and opportunities facing our city and surrounding areas!”

Congratulations to Camille and Stephen! We are so proud of you and the care and passion you have for our community.

Leadership Pensacola | All About Community

Leadership Pensacola is designed to help members understand the issues facing the Pensacola area and gain the leadership skills necessary to resolve them. The organization is made up of those active in the Pensacola community – men and women from different political, career, educational, social and cultural backgrounds. Some objectives of LeaP are to identify and build up community leaders from the various geographic, ethnic, occupational and economic backgrounds of the Pensacola area, provide a clear, in-depth understanding of issues, problems and opportunities involving the Pensacola area and develop civic and community concern and involvement by all the participants.

An organization like Leadership Pensacola helps the future of a community, filling it with leaders who are eager to improve, develop and grow a community and the training to equip them to do so. According to the Greater Pensacola Chamber, there have been over 1,900 people that have completed the Leadership Pensacola program since its creation. LeaP is helping build a stronger Pensacola region for current generations and those to come.
